Advocacy
A collective voice in federal policy, on issues identified by member CoCs.
A collective voice, when members choose to use it
As a 501(c)(6) professional association, NACCL has more flexibility to advocate and lobby federally on issues important to member CoCs than many member organizations have on their own. That means NACCL can take positions on federal issues identified by its members without asking any one CoC or lead agency to take that on.
A common CoC perspective in federal conversations
NACCL gives CoCs a place to bring a common CoC perspective into federal conversations when members choose to. It is built for the long term, not tied to one federal proposal, administration, or funding decision.
NACCL is intended to complement the work of the state, regional, and national organizations CoCs already work with, not replace it.
